Intensive 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training, taking place from January 3, 2026, to May 3, 2026. All coursework is done live virtually via Zoom.
YogaFit has been the leader in mind-body fitness education since 1994, training instructors from diverse backgrounds across North America and internationally. Our students range from complete beginners to trained enthusiasts; we welcome students of all levels into our training. This intensive meets the Yoga Alliance requirements for our 200-hour Fundamental Teaching Certification. Teachers will complete the intensive feeling confident within their own practice AND be able to teach a variety of yoga classes, including Vinyasa, Chair Yoga, Power Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, and Trauma-Informed Yoga.
What You Will Learn:
- In-depth posture breakdown of over 100 postures and various class formats
- Study of transformational, inclusive language and effective cueing techniques
- Verbal and hands-on adjustments, modifications for every level of practice
- Yoga philosophy, ethics, and history
- Introduction to Sanskrit
- Pranayama, mantras, mudras, sound therapy, and chakras
- Functional yoga anatomy
- Polyvagal theory and its application to teaching yoga
- The business of yoga and yoga “off the mat”
Schedule:
All courses include master classes, theory, group discussions, self-study, team teaching, an overview of practical applications, and home study.

Typical Format:
- 8:00 am-12:00 pm: Intro to topic, theory and group discussion, master class
- 12:00 pm-1:00 pm: Lunch
- 1:00 pm-6:00 pm: Discussions, self-study, pose breakdown, group work, practice teaching.
