How to Gear Up for a Mind Body Fitness Conference

We are excited to announce the launch of our inaugural Mind Body Fitness Conference this Thursday, January 29th, in sunny San Diego! This groundbreaking 4-day event is designed for those looking to deepen their yoga practice and embrace a holistic lifestyle through mind-body awareness.

Our conferences are unique; anyone can register to expand their knowledge of ancient yoga practices. So, how can you prepare for this enriching experience? We turned to our incredibly organized and always positive Mind Body Fitness Coordinator, Jenny Baldwin, for her top tips. Here are her six essential recommendations:

  • Register Early for the Best Pricing: Registering early can save you money. For instance, attending two two-day trainings during the conference is more economical than booking two standalone trainings ($750 vs. $810).

  • Book Your Hotel Room Ahead of Time: Secure your hotel accommodations before the cut-off date listed on our website. We partner with hotels to offer discounted rates that expire about three weeks before the conference.

  • Use Our Roommate Finder: Take advantage of our Roommate Finder sign-up! This platform connects attendees looking to share hotel costs. Please note, however, that we facilitate connections but do not match roommates directly.

  • Pack Snacks and Layers: We aim to keep training rooms at around 75 degrees, but temperatures can vary. Bring layers so you can adjust as needed throughout the sessions. Additionally, since YogaFit trainings combine movement and classroom work, we recommend bringing healthy snacks to munch on throughout the day rather than eating a large lunch—it’s tough to do pose breakdown on a full stomach!

  • Have Fun: Many attendees form lifelong friendships at our Mind Body Fitness Conferences. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow YogaFit enthusiasts and trainers.
