C.J. Heck famously stated, “We are all products of our environment.” While there are many external stimuli, some good, some bad, research demonstrates that our external world stressors are harming our internal environment and overall well-being. The main players, like Lyme disease, mold toxicity, and heavy metal overload, can cause a host of chronic symptoms ranging from nervous system dysregulation, inflammation, fatigue, muscular and joint challenges, digestive dysfunction, and brain fog.
These chronic conditions and their symptoms speak to one being in a survival state versus a thriving one, and this is why I am delighted to bring this educational and empowering offering to you.
Yoga for Chronic Environmental Illness is a specialized YogaFit webinar created to aid your understanding of these conditions and to learn ways to support the journey to strengthen the body’s internal environment through the application of yoga therapy tools.
During this event, you’ll become familiar with how evidence-based yoga practices can be applied to an individual suffering from one or more of these chronic conditions through approachable breathwork techniques, somatic practices, gentle asanas, mudra, and meditation, specifically selected to encourage a resilient and peaceful internal environment.
This webinar is led by Kelly Hunger. All are welcome to attend to learn, grow, and guide the body or an individual to a more balanced and calm state to promote healing with the accessible tools presented in this event.
