Nutrition is the act of being nourished and the processes by which an animal or plant takes in and utilizes food substances. Holistic refers to the belief that you need to look at the whole, interconnected person. Therefore, holistic nutrition can be defined as the process of taking food into the body and absorbing the nutrients in those foods based on the principle that everything is connected in some way. In this training we will explore nutrition in the content of the 8 limbs of yoga and create a greater understanding of Ayurvedic principles and western nutrition.
