There is more than a chill in the air. I have a diffuser from doTERRA going in my house, right by my front door 24/7. I like to have a nice scent when I come in from the city outside, and along with good music and lighting this sets the stage for a peaceful and clean feeling house. Since it is well known that scent makes a huge difference in our moods and psychology so I find that my custom blends really enhance both.
In the mornings, I mix Peppermint and Eucalyptus in my diffuser for a fresh, clean wake up scent that energizes and invigorates.
For evenings, I blend Lavender and Patchouli for a calm and sensuous environment.
For holiday parties, I like to mix clove and cinnamon essential oils.
If I am feeling sleepy – Wintergreen and Pine make a nice combo and improves my cognitive function.
To clean the energy in the house try Wild Orange mixed with a little Lemon.
