We are bringing these two trainings together to create a full one day training that can count as an elective for RYT 200 or RYT 300!
YogaStrength focuses on developing muscular strength and endurance throughout all major muscle groups in the body. YogaStrength is a challenging workout that fuses functional strength and flexibility with the benefits of added resistance. With the safe use of hand-weights/body bars, one can enjoy enhanced muscular toning, shaping benefits and an overall feeling of mind/body strength.
YogaButt™ is a hybrid fitness program that focuses on developing muscular strength and endurance throughout the body, with emphasis on the core stabilizing muscles (abdominal and back muscle groups), and additional muscle groups surrounding and assisting the midsection (glutes, hamstrings, adductors, abductors, quadriceps, and many upper body muscles). Core center strength is the foundation of a complete yoga practice, as well as deep breathing, and clearing the mind.
Using a small, compressible rubber ball placed between the legs, specific YogaFit postures are performed in a brand new way, to assure certain muscles are isolated and strengthened. Additionally, the traditional YogaFit postures are strung together using athletic, active, and flowing sequences and extra fitness movements, such as squats, push-ups, and lunges are added to the format for greater overall body conditioning.
This four hour workshop will provide fun new alternatives for your yoga classes.
