it's relationship with Michael Vick after Vick was charged

far as banning all Nike wear until the company severed

Reducing Client Stress by Understanding Yoga and Pilates
for the New Year, by Beth Shaw.
Many of your clients face stress on the job and at home-the
reality of long hours, deadlines, finances, politics, personalities
and family issues-many clients may deal with their stress
with a break of some kind and usually not a healthy one;
the extra cafe latte, a cigarette, a few martinis after
work. Whatever they can do to wind down; blow off some
steam and attempt realxation.
Those of us in the fitness industry are the lucky ones,
for several reasons. We usually love our "chosen" professions,
get to work off our stress the healthy way and more importantly

Variety
"YogaFit
founder Beth Shaw admits her YogaButt class - which quickly
became the most popular program at her Hermosa
Beach Studio when she started offering it a year ago - "isn't
really yoga" in the traditional sense but says it might
introduce excercisers to yoga concepts and, better yet, make
converts out of them. A true believer with a keen marketing
sense, Shaw draws such area industryites as Ali Landry and
scribe Roger Avary to her studio a couple of blocks from
the beach, but her real focus is training yoga instructors
around the world. Her mantra: yoga for the masses. " |

" Beth
Shaw's YogaFit Workout, by Fit, fitness editor, Rita - Whether
you're a yoga novice or a hardcore yogini,
this is a perfect choice for total body toning. Beth is a
wonderful, knowledgeable teacher who doesn't waste time with
a big intro but gets right into the workout. She starts with
some simple warm-up stretches, gives clear, easy-to-follow
instructions and doesn't use confusing Sanskrit terminology.
The basic sun salutations build heat in the body, and then
it's onto the floor for some challenging toning and ab work.
You can modify the moves according to your mood/fitness level.
The last five minutes include guided relaxation and meditation.
I do this at least four times a week." |

"Video
Yoga Fix by Spa writer, Amy Madsen - I remember my first
workout video. An actress shouted "Feel the
burn!" as I bounced around my living room in leg warmers
and a headband. Often, however, the "burn" was
supplemented by pain when I barked my shins on the coffee
table. Well, there's no yelling in Beth Shaw's YogaFit Workout
video, and forget jumping around. This workout, which combines
elements of hatha yoga with traditional fitness exercises
and stretches, keeps you in one spot on a comfy mat while
you work up a respectable sweat. The video prepares you for
the various yoga poses in a section called "YogaFit
Workout Essentials." Shaw demonstrates breathing techniques
and basic poses, as well as modifications for beginners and
people with bad knees, backs, or necks. The 43-minute workout
begins with warm-up breathing and stretching. Then it moves
into a rather rigorous series of yoga moves and ends with
deep relaxing stretches. The spiral bound book that comes
with the video is a handy reference, both during the introduction
and the actual workout." |
